I'm a regular at Jakes' during the cocktail hour. IF it wasn't for a few bartenders and meeting good friends there, I would go elsewhere. I love the owner, but he needs to clean the restrooms regularly, not just when someone pukes. Once the younger crowd shows up (nightly) we leave as it is unbearable to listen to the crap music blasted as loud as it can be.

Fun bar. Long and narrow layout. Usually standing room only on the weekends. Free popcorn. No pool or fooseball. Couple dart boards. Younger crowd, but not underage. Usually the music is a loud enough that you need to yell to have a conversation. Good bar to socialize and get wasted. Prices are average. It may not be quite as crowded as usual now that Roadhouse across the street is grabbing a lot of business.
