Well, sadly this restaurant has closed so don\'t head their way. It was really good food!

I understand possibility of communications problems my ancestors did not arrive with great English language skills either. I eat there a lot because of a nice variety of outstanding fresh prepared food, cleanliness, friendliness and a good value. They offer a nice daily noon buffet and a diverse Afghan dinner menu. I find the people a delight and to have an honest and loving heart. John if you ask to contact the oldest son who will soon be a double major engineering ISU grad he can and will get to the bottom of your problem. This place has won me over and has become my primary eat out.

The food was great, and the service was good until I received the bill. My credit card was billed $337 for a $6.99 buffet. I have been fighting it with the restaurant for well over a month now. If you are going to this restaurant, I would recommend paying in cash. Correct change would be helpful, because the lady at the register didn't understand American currency on top of not understanding a credit card machine.

Simply put, I just love it! It's interesting food, cooked in an Indian style, but with more of a Middle Eastern flavor. Have not had anything unpleasant, and the management was great about explaining what everything was. Much nicer than India Star was (is). The buffet is maybe the best lunch munch deal around. Des Moines is lucky to have this place.

The food was excellent, and the service very good. The menu provides a wide range of authentic Afghan choices providing excellent opportunities for even the most finicky palate. We definitely plan a return visit on our next tip for California.

This is delicious food, and all prepared from scratch! The lunch buffet is fast and tasty; dinner from the menu runs between $9-$13 a plate, and the plates are loaded. It's definitely worth a trip!

Much better than India star that was perviously located there. The restaurant looks much cleaner and nicer inside. The repelling oder that was there during India Star is completely gone. Aryana has turned that place around. I mean from quality of food to seating and decoration! All has changed for better. You will love this place!
