The Cosmopolitan is a very cool bar. The staff are friendly and accommodating and provide excellent service. It is the only hotel in Des Moines that offers jazz, and the Scott Davis Quartet that plays there once a month are a real highlight. The ambiance they create makes you feel like you could be in any major city in the U.S.

Though not very big (that's a good thing) this lounge offers nothing but the best. Great drinks, friendly staff, and fantastic live music very weekend!

This lounge is the only one like it in the state of Iowa. From the great martinis to the live entertainment all way round is the most classiest place to be!

I have mixed feelings about this place. the martinis are good, but I've never had a good mixed drink there. On 2 seperate visits their soda was flat. I don't know if they have a bad gun or what, but paying 8 bones for a flat drink is not my favorite thing to do. If i want a flat whiskey coke, I'll leave one on my nightstand overnight.
