The place may not be pretty but the food and the service more than make up for it. The menu offers both Greek fare as well as a selection of American style foods. I have eatten dinner at this place a few times now and have never had bad food or bad service. Everything that I had or seen on the dinner menu includes Soup, Greek salad, bread, and side dishes along with the entree. We ordered the kasseri cheese appetizer. The blocks of cheese come sizzling on a platter. The owner himself brought it to the table, pours spirits over the cheese, lights it on fire... the flames about reached the tin-stamped ceiling before he douses them with a squeeze of fresh lemon "OPAHHHHHHH". It was not only entertaining - it was very tasty as well. Fridays nights include a belly dancing entertainer. What more can you ask for... great food, free entertainment, all at a great value.

The food is great and very affordable. Good for a quick lunch downtown.

I encourage anybody looking to try Greek food for the first time to go.

We started with the dolmas, which are stuffed grape leaves, that were served in a delicious and light lemon sauce

I got the chicken gyro and my partner got the veggie gyro, and they were both tasty.

Great food and a great value. Would get 5 stars if the place didn't look like a dump.

I hate the fact that no one knows about this place. I love the food and the atmosphere is great. They have belly dancers on Friday nights!

Admit it, this place is not pretty. But it has great food and is the East Village. Their gyro dinner is an incredible bargain and very tasty! Soup, Greek salad, bread, beef or chicken Gyro, and 3 sides for something like $10! I challenge anyone to find a better deal than that!

Fresh ingredients, made to order. Excellent ethnic food in a nice, quiet atmosphere.
