Way expensive. If I am going out to lunch I would much rather spend the money to sit down to real service. Alright food, but it's a Deli. What about the fact that they moved in on Manhattan? Go there instead.

Here's my opinion about Deli's these days in DSM. There's really good two options. Manhattan and Palmers. If you just want to have a great sandwich, with maybe an awesome cup of cheese soup go to Manahattan. If you want a good (but definately not cheap) sandwich and then be able to impress your friends by telling them you ate at Palmers... well, then go to Palmers. Good food, but a little too yuppie for me.
Side note- If wanting to have a relaxed business luncheon (not some power lunch) go here. the food IS good, it's just a little too expensive for the daily eater.

I loved Palmer's. I went on a quick lunch between classes and throroughly enjoyed my sandwich. They have a particularly yummy variety of iced tea that I enjoyed. I want to get a chance to try more of their salads and soups. The price is in tune with the upscale deli feel of the place, but do not expect Jimmy John's or Subway prices, but it is quite tasty. They also have wine tastings and other events that would make great date nights.

Nice lunch place. The absolute best chocolate chuck cookies with nuts and oatmeal...big enough for two.

This new spot is great. I thought the WDM and the skywalk locations were good, but this takes the cake. 1st off this location is much bigger. Excellent sandos and they do a Sunday brunch that is great.
