The food was GREAT! We went there for Bachlorette party and our waitress was a very good sport! It was a little loud in there, but once you had a drink you didn't notice it too much. Like I said the food was GREAT and the drinks were GREAT! I enjoyed the Cotton Eye Joe line dance the waiters and waitresses did! It was a very good time, I would recomend it. Do the call ahead seating, and you will not have to wait! We did and got seated within a minute of arriving. YEEHAW!

I have never had a bad steak here. I always request medium rare and have never been disapointed. My wife also says the ribs are excellent, although I'm usually too busy getting steak to try them. The beer is pretty cheap too for a restaurant. For those in the know there is a number you can call to put your name on the waiting list. Just call before you leave the house and you can cut your wait down quite a bit. I also have never had a problem with the service. Excellent choice all around.

Not worth the crowds or the wait. Always packed (I dont know why). Decent food, though.

The Texas Roadhouse here is no where as good as the one in Cedar Falls. In college we used to go there all the time to have some good food and fun times. This one is a let down.

The free peanuts are fun but the food was just not very good. Their selections of beer on tap was pathetic (Bud, Bud Light, etc.) . . . no imports/specialty (good) beers to be found. I had a 12 oz. rib-eye and it was also was pathetic, and I'm usually not fussy, but the steak was very thin with lots of fat and grissel. A friends daughter had ordered a kid's meal hamburger which was extremely dry and the bun was smashed on top. Their version of the bloomin' onion was pretty tasty but all in all, not a place I would recommend.

Just want to start by saying "I LOVE A GOOD STEAK". However that is not what I received here. I ordered the rib-eye medium with high hopes. In all honesty I would swear I got a sirloin well done instead. But here is the worst part. The steak was SO over seasoned and salty that I could barely stand to eat it. You would have sworn someone loosened the lid on the shaker. The rest of the food was just OK at best. Between the poor food and the ANNOYING music and dancing, I am hesitant to give this place a second try. I probably will try it again someday, but I have a feeling I already know the results.

We went to Texas Roadhouse during opening week. I had never been to this restaurant and I heard great things about it so I was pretty excited to go. We waited forever which was expected because they had just opened. Their beer selection was ok from what I remembered. All the normal domestics with a few of the normal imports you would expect. Our waiter was a little over attentive of us. This may have been because it was his first waiting job, but I do not need my water filled after every sip and asked if I need another beer every 5 minutes. We ordered the Cactus Blossom for an appetizer which was really good. For dinner I had the chicken fried steak which was ok. My fiancé had the ribeye which was a pretty decent steak. It got kind of annoying to see the wait staff dancing while people were waiting to be seated. I think if I go back again I will steer clear of the chicken fried steak and try a ribeye or a t-bone.

This steakhouse chain boasts that all their side dishes are homemade, the steaks are cut on-site, and the bread is baked fresh every 20 minutes. All of that may be true, but it doesn't add up to a great meal. The side salad was good, though we could have used more dressing. The mashed potatoes were runny, the steak fries weren't crispy at all, and the steak was just okay. The bread is just white rolls - nothing to rave about, in our opinion. Our waitress spent more time line-dancing to "Cotton-eyed Joe" than serving our table. Prices aren't bad, but we honestly decided that next time we want a steak but don't feel like cooking it at home, we'll go to The Cab.
