I eat at the 25th street location of Gazali's (Drake neighborhood) a LOT. The gyros are phenomenal, and the gyro salad is something I crave daily. The hours are a tad limited, but for the same quality food with more flexibilityin hours, try Mario's West Glen location, Adonis.

As far as gyros go, these are the best I've had so far in Des Moines. They're not crazy oily like Ted's, and they're packed with meat. Can't wait to try the falafel and the hummus. The hours were crazy weird though. 11-3 most days, and I think 11-7 Tuesday and Wednesday.
