My husband and I frequent here often because of the personal attention and great service. Everything always tastes so great, and they have lots of fun wines to try. We love the desserts as well...It is fun to sit on the patio if the weather is cooperating.

This was the WORST dining experience I have EVER had! As several have mentioned the service was slow, I can get over that. But when a steak can't be cooked to medium after two attempts, someone should at least offer an apology or make up a story. Instead we were treated very disrespectful!!!!

We will never return. Our service was extremely slow. We received our entree 2 1/2 hours after being seated. Our server made many mistakes. Bringing wrong drinks and missing someone while taking our orders to name a couple. The steaks were uncooked and never corrected after being sent back twice. One member of our party never received her steak. We found the Management/ Owner unresponsive when we brought our dissatification to his attention. It was an awful experience.

They have their wine program in a high gear here. The servers might need more education in some areas, but their is always someone there that can point you in right direction with the food. They have a chef that has been there a couple years now and he is executing very well. This restaurant is one of the finest in town for a business meal or date night.

Pleasant setting, prompt service. The food was very good - well prepared, great flavor, appealing presentation. Strongly recommend.

Great hidden gem with wonderfull warm setting. the food and specials are the best, with a wine list that is thoughout.

Everything about this place was great...the food, the service, the atmosphere. I would reccommend this to anyone looking for a romantic dinner at a local restaurant. I haven't had a meal this good in Des Moines for quite some time.

Wonderful food located in a small, almost hidden restaurant. Superb wine list that compliments all dishes. A must try.
