Oh My God, i love this place. it's right in Valley junction and fun to go at anytime of the year. Sometimes i'll even go there in lieu of the street vendors during their street fairs. They've got delicious sando and all kinds of tasty, crazy soups- like cheeseburger soup. And the staff is always friendly.

This is a great little lunch spot! Located in the heart of Valley Junction this General Store offers deli and specialty sandwiches along with homemade soups. The sandwiches are yummy, the side pasta salad was excellent and the soup was hearty. In fact my co-worker said it was the best Reuben she had ever tasted.
My only complaint is it very slow during the hot lunch hours. Our meal (to go) took 15-20 minutes to prepare.
However, location is great and the atmosphere is charming and the service, although slow, was friendly.
