Don't understand the apparent popularity of this place. It was very crowded when we visited with a party of four. We ordered two pizzas to share and they were OK, but we expected more given the higher prices. There are better value options around.

Pizza not bad, but expensive. Wings are the worst I've ever had, by far, in a restaurant. Tasted like they were frozen and thrown in the oven for 20 minutes. Came out soggy and not the slightest bit crisp.

The pizza here is really good! As are the wings. This is a great place to go to watch some baseball or football games. Never had any problems with service. Good selection of beer on tap as well.

I'd rate the pizza 3 stars, however have had multiple problems placing an order and receiving an accurate order when I call ahead to pick up lunch. Several times I ordered lunch, for one person not a staff, and the past 3 times I received only a portion of my order, or the wrong topping on the pizza after a 10 minute wait when I'd called ahead 20 mins earlier.

Staff was slow, but nice. Food was very so-so --nothing special. Service of food was extremely slow over the lunch hour. There are much better places to eat in the Des Moines area.

In being a post host staff at boston's pizza i have tried most every thing on the menu, this is a great place to eat and every time i am back in WDM I have to make a trip there for the shrimp alfredo! any one who dislikes the food at bostons should have a lesson in food tasting!

The host was a bit inept but the waitress and bartender made up for it with fairly attentive service. We went to Boston's because it sounded like a kid-friendly place. We gladly eat average food if the kids are entertained. So imagine our delight when we found that the food bordered on excellent. Good pasta dishes and the Italian chopped salad was terrific. Too bad it's in the suburb WAAAAAY out west.

I've been to Boston's twice, both times to eat a meal in the restaurant. I haven't been impressed with the food or service. Although it's a newer restaurant, the waitresses were still more inattentive than I'd expect and we had to flag them down when we needed a drink refill or sauce for our breadsticks -- and the place was far from crowded.

My first visit, I tried one of their specialty pizzas and found it lacking. A friend who tried a pepperoni and sausage pizza thought it was average to mediocre. My second visit was on their pasta special night so I tried the chicken marsala which had a pretty generic sauce.

If there's something Boston's is particularly good at I haven't found it yet, but I can't really think of a reason to go back with bad service and mediocre food on my visits so far.

My rating is strictly on the wings. They are around $10 and you get a bunch. Also, what I especially liked, is you choose three different flavors. That way you can switch it up when you mouth is on fire. :) I got hot, BBQ, and cajun. They were all good.
I didn't look around much, just sat at the bar to eat and have a couple drinks on a Friday night. Friendly barkeep.
Out west on University.
