Great local bar right in the center of 86th Street's bar scene. Friendly wait staff with a low key customer base. Recently received a fooze ball table. Great drinks with great specials every night of the week. Easy access from Clive after Five.

We recently went in after dinner at Bonefish nearby. Horrid nearly non existent service, and a band that was so loud conversation was impossible. It was a Tuesday night, I am not sure who this band was supposed to be playing for but they were so loud maybe they were entertaining the folks at the owner's other bar in Johnston as well.

Went after work, sat inside and out on the patio. Nothing to complain about, just another bar. It is within walking distance of Drink, Crush, and Down Under. I would go back. I think it must be owned by the same group as The Cab because there were ads hanging on the walls.

Cabaret is a pretty clean establishment. The atmosphere is nice and low key. They feature the single pool table, Silver Strike Bowling, Fruit Bonus, Darts and have multiple TV's. There is a special every night of the week. Steak nights and Wing nights. It's a smokers version of The CAB. The popcorn apparently isn't free so don't go grabbing it. The waitstaff is very quick and pay attention to you.

It's not a big place but it doesn't seem like everyone's packed in when it's full either. They have a patio that will hold about 20 people in front of the bar. It's also close to Perkins so when you're wasted and have the munchies, crappy food isn't very far. Come any night of the week and try whatever they have for specials.

You can hear what each other has to say without a problem if you don't stand under the speaker. Take a Gander, you aren't far from Drink, Down Under, Mickeys, 3 Bag, Aura, bunch of others. All within drunk driving distance... or better yet, get a cab.
