If Encore Pizza delivered to NJ, I would be your #1 customer. Dennis Gibson is responsible for the greatest sports memory in my life when he batted down the O'Donnell pass in the '94 AFC Championship game which sent the San Diego Chargers to their only Super Bowl berth in team history. Thank you Dennis!

Their pizza is amazing, I lovvvee their onion rings, and you can't beat their creamy parmesan salad dressing! yum! The wait staff was friendly and very personable. Though i do agree there should be more options in the beer department. Definitely worth a visit!!

Encore has fantastic pizza and Dennis does a great job there. I've been for lunch and dinner and love the thin crust and onion rings! Stop in sometime- you won't be disappointed!

Our favorite thin crust pizza in town. Onion rings are good - thick. Although I actually prefer thin ones these are the best thick ones around. Salads are very good. Wish beer selection was wider. Have told many about Encore and always received positive feedback.
Excellent thin crust pizza, cooked on a wood oven grill. Topping choices include items not always found in other pizza places. Friendly and cooperative local owner that seeks out customer input and checks to make sure the food is OK and meets customers desires. Worth a visit or two.

We would never go back! We forked out $23 for the lunch buffet, which only had one vegetarian pizza (cheese, which was cold) only to receive a reprimand from the (presumed) owner for our baby's few squeals of laughter. The adults in the restaurant, of course, could talk/guffaw as loudly as they liked.
I can only hope the (presumed) owner does not have children, for only someone with a severe personality disorder would hate children to the extent that they would never be allowed verbal expression, and cannot conceive of the kind of abuse that it would take to keep a baby from vocalizing.

I admit that encore pizza may not be for everyone but if you like thin crust that is crispy this place is a delite to eat. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed.

I was really looking forward to trying Encore Pizza for the second time. I had visited previously when it was the Pizza Oven and the food was incredible. I expected the same when I returned, but all I received was a horrible dining experience. The waitress was slow, the kitchen was even slower and the food came out like it had been sitting in the back for two hours. The pizza we received was not worth the price we paid. We will sure not be back. It's definitely "Not All Good."

Love their pizza and am a regular, but they get dinged because they are too lazy to deliver to Windsor Heights, 7 minutes away.
Encore provides a unique taste in pizza selections. Today we visited their pizza buffet during the lunch hour and I was impressed. They offered a variety different pizzas and kept the selection stocked. They also provided dine in area that was clean and smoke free.
I would not recomend this pizza to anyone. I got a pizza there this week for the first and last time. I bet there wasn't 4 ounces of topping on a dried up piece of bread. No kidding. I've had better two dollar frozen pizza's than this. Hey Dennis, Try out Nello's at one of their Phoenix area locations if you ever get down that way. That's a pie. For now Leaning Tower in Ankeny is hard to beat.

I drove through the first snow storm of the season to try their pizza. I was not disappointed. If you like thin crust pizza you have to try this one. I recommend the Combination.
This place used to be called Pizza Oven, which was opened by former Detroit Lion Dennis Gibson and a partner. However, Pizza Oven didn't quite make it, so the partnership closed.
Shortly after, Gibson re-opened the restaurant by himself with the suitable name, Encore Pizza.
Most of my visits to Encore have been for the lunch buffet, which is awesome. There's a salad bar that is slightly higher quality than most pizza buffet salad bars. It includes a great penne pasta.
The pizza is thin crust, high quality, and has some unique toppings. The buffet is also very well stocked during the lunch rush. Usually they are bringing out new pizzas before all of the existing pizzas are even gone.
I visited Encore Pizza when it was Pizza Oven and loved it…this weekend’s visit was no different.
We tried the Margherita and Garlic Mushroom Alfredo Pizza and both were outstanding. They both had the perfect amount of ingredients and perfect crust. The salads were fresh and the dressings, delicious.
My only complaint was the onion rings, which are usually wonderful were a little under done this time. But, all in all another great experience!
