My friends and I absolutly love this bar. The owner is awesome and so is the crowd most of the time. This wait staff is mostly good as well. It's the kind of bar that I can get all dressed up and go out or I can pull my hair up after work and not feel out of place. I'd highly recomend this bar. We go there all the time.

Fun bar, friendly owner & staff, good prices, best of all a true neighborhood bar. I can get smashed and walk home!

Bogie's is probably my favorite bar in the greater Des Moines area. If you're not into the whole "guys wearing striped shirts who fake bake in January" and "girls with no personality who spend 3 hours getting ready to go out" scene, then you'll probably like Bogie's. Great younger crowd, most of whom don't take themselves too seriously. Staff is very cool and never too busy to say hello. Good times.
