Crush sucks. Excuse me if I want to wear a hooded sweatshirt on a frigging cold night instead of wearing a coat. You are going to turn me away from the door for that? What about the hot chick in front of me at the door that got in with a hooded sweatshirt? Why didn't you turn her away? I'll gladly walk away as you do not deserve my hard earned money for cover or for your overpriced watered down drinks.

Crush Night Club is the best dance club in Des Moines. It has a interior design, cool bathrooms and good DJ's. They play the hottest music to dance to and I've been going there for two years, so I should know. It is the only club I would ever go to on Saturdays in Des Moines. I love that place.

if you are not into dancing and shaking your booty, this place is not for you. There isn't much else to do here. If you like to dance, of course you will probably have fun. Door fee is high price, drinks are high price.

This place gets one star and only for the cool dj and the cool decor. Otherwise this place sucks. The 2 times I went to crush I left and went to Aura. The dress code is whack! Unless you dress like Carlton on Fresh Prince be prepared to be turned away!

Although this club is never as busy as The Loft and there tends to be a lot more room than you want on the dance floor, it can also be a complete blast. They don't have stringent dress rules (although I really wish they did sometimes!) anymore, I'm assuming because of the incident that happened with BJ. The bartenders have sass and attitude and the decor is rocking. It's only open on the weekend, but that's fine because they can barely drum up enough people to come then...

Crush is one of the hottest weekend dance clubs on the west side. It's setup really nicely with great decor, great music, and a generally hot crowd.

The only drawback to Crush is that they have the lame dress code rules. In fact, they've actually gotten into a bit of trouble over the "no tennis shoes rule."

Besides that, the bar has a big dancing illuminated wall behind it. Plus the bathrooms along the back wall have glass doors that turn opaque when locked - a really cool effect.

Crush is not a chill bar, it's a dance club with some good style. If you like to get ho'd out and dance, this is a great place. They throw some great parties, and have some of Des Moines' best DJs. Plus if you get tired of dancing Drink, Cabaret, and Down Under are all in walking distance.
