One of Beaverdale's best kept secrets. Cooneys is a great bar, because it doesn't attempt to be anything else. It's not a singles scene, dance bar, sports bar, or theme bar. It's just a dark, cool, low-key place to get a few drinks. Bartenders and waitresses are friendly, as are most all patrons, and the bar is clean. If you're in the market for a low key drink by yourself or with a few friends, Cooney's is the spot.

This bar is a great place to get away from it all. It's dark and quiet a perfect oasis from the daily maddness.

Exactly what I've been looking for! Simply fulfilling in every way without the stupid gambling machines, without the overpriced Yagerbombs, and most importantly to me...without the credit card processors. Yeah, it seems it might be a little old fashion but if comfort and a good conversation from any age range means old fashion, then I guess it is. Awesome array of vintage collectables and wall pieces. As well, as free dart board and 2 goldentee machines. Try it out.

this place is good. a great neighborhood dive. very dark and very smokey and the drinks are dirt cheap.
