Wouldn't be a big loss. Got lunch here about a month ago. None of my crew would do it again. Four guys with iron stomachs and the Iowa meat and potatoes attitude. Toughest chicken chimi I've ever had. So much good mexican food in southern California and Phoenix. Just don't know why it hasn't migrated north.

I was recommended this resturant by a local in Des Moines, I was in town for business and have to say this place was very good. I would recommend. Much better than cookie cutter Tex Mex resturants you find on the road. Beef was real beef strips, not soy burger unfrozen and but into the meal. Order was filled correctly and promptly even with special order by me. It was clean, waitress did a great job, was on top of our service. Check this place out!

I have an outsitder's perspective since I come from CA and get authentic Mexican food there. I have to say that I was impressed with the food. They were real fast we didn't have to wait for them to come back and fill up our cups. I wish they had this type of service/food in Cedar Rapids.

You get what you pay for. The food is good and the service is good. And it's ridiculously cheap. You really can't complain!

This is one of those fine Mexican places that you go in, eat your chips and eat your food and it's all casual. The food is good and they make thier own chips. I'm a big fan of the midafternoon margarita for $1.50. It's always been potent and for that price, you can afford to drink your afternoon away with chips and salsa and be happy all day. The service at times can be spotty. I've been to all the ones here and it's the same every place. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow. What I have noticed is that the busier the place is, the faster the service, and vice versa. Doesn't make sense but I guess it's good if it's the lunch hour or dinner time. It got two stars initially but got the extra half for the cheap margaritas.
