I absolutely love this bar I used to hang out there quite a bit but since I have moved across town don't make it like I used to but it rocks! My only complaint was that they didn't have silverstrike one of my favorite games but just found out they do now.... so you got me no complaints this bar is perfect!

Even though Jeff and Fatty did not ask me to use my name in one of their newest establishments I still frequent the place. When you walk in you soon see how this fits into the Hairy Marys/GT/Luckys vibe. Jeff's handy work is all over the place from the cool bowling lane bartop to the nifty and surprisingly comfy logs used for bar stools. One of the bar's frequent attendees (Why can't I remember his name?) made the stools out of the trees cleared by a new construction that is a shot glass throw away from the bar. You can see the guy often enough in the bar and a large picture of him is on the wall so you can see what he looked like "back in the day" on his ride.

This leads me to the next thing that is obvious....this is a real bikers bar and not some knock off you would find in West Des Moines or Waukee. The 2 beers on tap are Hamms and some other cheaper domestic....and that is good enough to wash down the main course.....TACOS! Don't expect to get custom tacos made for you....you get them one way and only in hardshell....but they taste awesome. The sauces range from Ortega (80's high school style) to Tapatio (HOT!). The booze is normal per Fatty's other top shelfs but there are a few stand outs that you have to look for. I won't spoil it for you but if you need a hint: You only need to look at my nickname and heritage.

The bartenders are real, hip, and skilled (see STRONG drinks) but be ready to get a tounge lashing if you are impatient or rude. This may be a biker bar but there is no need for poor manners.

For the gamers there are 2 games....Pool and Deer Hunter. That is about is since the main focus is hanging with your peeps and drinking.

Now normally you don't see this in bar reviews but I will put this in for the ladies. This bar's bathrooms are a low hover type. In another words you only have to hover a little as they are clean. No Mary's mens bathroom here.

All in all a gem in a city of lame bars and copy cats.
Top this one Jeff and I will go broke.

Great Bar! Great people! From the Hamm's on tap to the unique treehouse decor, this bar is killer. There isn't a better taco around when you're lit. Make sure and try a pickled egg while you're there, you won't regret it.
